ANFMEX Scholarship
ANFMEX Scholarship for the First International Flute Convention in Mexico
Applications available until June 1, 2025.
About the Scholarship
The NATIONAL FLUTISTS ASSOCIATION OF MEXICO offers lodging and meal assistance to semifinalists of the International Flute Competition to attend the event in person. This assistance will only cover the days of the competition, which run from July 30 at 3:00 PM to August 2 at 3:00 PM, in an Airbnb near the competition venue.

This offer is exclusively for middle school, high school, or undergraduate students participating in the competition. Ideal candidates are serious flute students who have advanced to the in-person semifinals in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, and who wish to experience everything the convention has to offer but whose financial situation prevents them from attending.

Our goal is to provide the student with perspectives, inspiration, and connections to help them develop their musical skills and share what they have learned with their community.
Semifinalists who have advanced to the in-person stage are exempt from paying the convention registration fee as support for their transportation expenses, whether by land or air.
